Bijrani Forest Rest House is strategically located within the park’s core zone, providing easy access to the Aamdanda Gate and popular safari trails including Chhoti Fire Line, Badi Fire Line, Water Holes 2 & 4, and Machan. Sightings of Royal Bengal tigers, sloth bears, leopards, deer, and exotic birds are common, making it a favorite among visitors.

Important: The forest zone is open from 15th October to 15th June and closed during the monsoon season. Alcohol, non-vegetarian food, and non-biodegradable waste are strictly prohibited inside the forest.

Forest Lodges in Bijrani Zone

Bijrani Lodge: Offers panoramic views of wildlife and nature. Previously a hunting ground during the imperial era, now it provides tourists with safe wildlife observation opportunities.

Malani Lodge: Located 12 km from Bijrani, this lodge is in a peaceful, dense forest area. Guests can often spot tigers, bears, leopards, deer, and wild cats along the safari routes.

Booking Procedure

Provide names, age, gender, and ID proof (Driving License, PAN Card, Voter ID, Passport) for all travelers.

Balance payment is required after room confirmation.

Most forest rest houses (except Dhikala) do not have electricity, with generator power until 10 PM.
